After a first-round bye, Clark led the Eagles to a 5-0 win over 21st-ranked Trinity University (Texas) on Saturday, claiming an 8-4 first doubles win with Annette Sullivan, and defeated Thavindra Ekanayake 6-2, 6-0 in the first singles match. She followed that performance with an 8-3 first doubles win and a 6-1, 6-2, team-victory clinching win at first singles against Sewanee’s Bronte Goodhue, as the Eagles defeated the Tigers 5-0 in the round of 16 on Sunday. Clark is now 26-6 in singles action and 23-6 in doubles matches this season. In addition, she earned the 80th singles victory of her career on Sunday to move into sole possession of fourth-place in school history. Clark and the Eagles, now 16-4 this season, will take on sixth-ranked Middlebury College in the quarterfinals on May 20th.
