Andrew Christopherson was named Director of Development and Alumni Relations for Campus Life and Athletics for Emory University in March 2011. A member of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, Andrew’s duties include coordinating fund-raising and alumni outreach efforts, along with identifying, cultivating and soliciting philanthropic support from individuals and companies for the Division of Campus Life.
Andrew’s professional background includes extensive experience in higher education administration. Andrew started at Emory on the University’s Regional Development team. Prior to coming to Emory, Andrew served as the Director of Alumni Programs at the Carolina Alumni Association for five years where he worked on a variety of institutional advancement projects. In addition, Andrew has professional experience in campus life as well as having worked in athletic administration with the Southern Conference.
A native of Minneapolis, MN, Andrew is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Davidson College. He also earned a master’s and doctoral degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of South Carolina. A former student-athlete, Andrew has volunteered as a baseball coach at a variety of levels. He and his wife live in Atlanta.
