Serving as an intern in Emory's strength and conditioning program is Rachel DeYoung.

Rachel attends Florida Gulf Coast University and will be obtaining her bachelor of science degree in human performance in the spring of 2012.  A native of Venice, Fla., she has previous strength and conditioning experience while working at Ave Maria University. 

Following her graduation, DeYoung plans on continuing her education and pursue a doctorate degree in physical therapy.

In addition, to being a sports and exercise enthusiast, she also enjoys dances hip-hop, modern dance and lyrical.

Stephen Ellwood
(Track & Field) Emory University junior Stephen Ellwood recorded a school-record in the 1,500-meter run at the Dr. Keeler Invitational on Friday. Elwood’s time of 3:52.39 was good for a eighth-place finish at the meet, in addition to being the 19th-best mark by a Division III athlete this season. [more]
