Serving as Assistant Director of Athletics for Administration at
Emory for the 2008-09
and 2009-10 school years is Elijah Ajayi.
Elijah had served as an Event Manager for varsity athletics at
Emory University
since January 2007. His duties included overseeing the
overall game set up, serving as the primary game manager and
providing staffing for all Eagles' home varsity events.
Prior to coming to Emory, Ajayi was a student assistant at Clayton
State University as their Intramural Sports Coordinator. His
experiences with intercollegiate athletics include game set up,
staff and coordinate intramural events for faculty, staff and the
community.
Elijah received his bachelor of science degree in management from
Clayton State University in 2005. While attending Clayton State, he
was a four-year varsity athlete and two-year captain of the track
and field team. Ajayi was voted the team's most valuable player in
2001 and provisional qualified for NCAA Nationals in the 4x100
relay in 2004. .
Elijah obtained his masters in sports administration concentrating
on school, college, and professional sports management from Georgia
State University in May of 2008.
