The 2011-12 school
year is Nick Smith's first as a graduate assistant with the Emory
strength and conditioning program.
Before joining Emory, Nick had previous experience at the collegiate and professional level coaching athletes who competetd for Arizona State University, the Colorado Rockies, and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
He graduated from Humboldt State University with a B.S. in Kinesiology (2009). He is currently attending Georgia State University and is expected to graduate with a M.S. in Kinesiology in 2013. Nick is USA Weightlifting Sports Performance certified and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Originally from California, he enjoys practicing what he preaches and snowboarding.
