Freshman (2010):

Long appeared in 11 games during his freshman season, making two starts and holding opponents to a team-best .194 batting average.  He finished the season with a 1-1 record with one save and a 3.72 earned run average.  In his nine relief appearances, Long was 1-0 with a 1.17 ERA and 17 strikeouts in 15.1 innings pitched.  He held lefties to just a .111 batting average during the season.  Long's best performance of the season came during the Eagles' 5-0 win over Atlanta Christian College on April 21st, when he picked up the save after allowing just one hit and striking out three batters during the final three innings of the game.
