Emory Baseball Adds a Game against Denison at Coolray Field
The Emory University baseball team is proud to announce it will
be playing Denison University at Coolray Field, home of the Atlanta
Braves’ AAA affiliate in Gwinnett, on Sunday, March
21st at noon.
Tickets for the game will be general admission, and will cost $5
apiece. The tickets will be available for purchase at the
gate prior to the game.
Coolray Field opened prior to the start of the 2009 minor league
season, and seats up to 10,099 fans. The ballpark features a
state-of-the-art video scoreboard, which will be in use for
Sunday’s contest. For more information on the

This will be the second meeting this season between the Eagles and
Denison University, coached by former Emory assistant Mike
Clark. On March 5th, the Eagles defeated the Big
Red 18-11 at Chappell Park. Emory currently stands at 10-8 on
the year, while Denison is 4-3 with five more games on the schedule
before facing the Eagles on Sunday.
Also on the schedule for the Eagles this week is a Wednesday
matchup against Montclair State University. The Red Hawks
currently stand at 3-2 on the season, and will face LaGrange
College on Tuesday before playing the Eagles on Wednesday at 2:30
PM at Chappell Park.
