Emory Eagles
Making a late push for a bid into the 2011 NCAA Division III Tournament, the Eagles have won four-straight games and eight of the last 10, including an 18-6 win on Wednesday against the University of the South.  The Eagles stand at 25-12 overall this season, including marks of 5-4 in true road games, and 15-5 at Chappell Park.  Emory is batting .313 as a team this season, while averaging 8.1 runs per game, and its pitching staff has an ERA of 4.49, while holding opponents to a .283 batting average.  Emory is led by head coach Mike Twardoski, whose 362-160-1 career record is good for a .693 winning percentage, the highest mark among active UAA coaches, 15th-highest among all active NCAA Division III coaches, and 21st-best mark among Division III coaches all time to start the season.  Assistant Coaches Bobby Perez, Brian Clark, and Greg McMichael will complete Coach Twardoski's staff for the 2011 season.
