Emory Baseball Reshuffles Weekend Series with Berry
With dangerous thunderstorms scheduled to enter the state of
Georgia Friday night, the Emory baseball team has switched the
date, times and locations of its two-game weekend series with
Berry, and the Home Run Derby for Charity.
Emory will now play at Berry on Saturday at 2:00 PM. On
Sunday at noon, the Eagles will return home to face Berry at
Chappell Park.
The Home Run Derby for Charity will still be held on Sunday at
Chappell Park, but will now follow the baseball game. Attendees
have a chance to win prizes that include autographs and Braves
tickets (behind home plate) and Willy's will be served. It
will be $8 for all you can eat, $10 to compete, and $20 for
everything including a t-shirt, with all proceeds from the derby
going to the Boys and Girls Club.
