Emory Baseball Selected to NCAA Tournament
For the first time since finishing second in the nation in 2007, the Emory University baseball team is tournament-bound, as the Eagles received an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Championships.
Emory (26-12) will be the fourth seed in the six-team Central Regional, hosted by Rhodes College at USA Stadium in Millington, Tennessee. The Eagles will be joined by top-seeded Birmingham-Southern (35-7), second-seeded Washington University (28-12), third-seeded DePauw (33-12), fifth-seeded Webster (31-11) and sixth-seeded Illinois Wesleyan (29-15).
Emory will open up tournament play against DePauw on Wednesday, May 16th at 8:00 PM ET.
