April 21, 2018 Emory Baseball Falls to Huntingdon on Senior Day The Emory University Baseball team saw its senior day spoiled on Saturday afternoon as the Huntingdon College Hawks edged out the Eagles, 7-5, in game two of the series at Chappell Park in Atlanta.

April 14, 2018 Emory Baseball Completes Four-Game Sweep of Brandeis The Emory University Baseball team completed its four-game sweep of University Athletic Association foe Brandeis University on Saturday afternoon, taking the final two games of the series by 10-4 and 5-2 margins at Chappell Park in Atlanta. The Eagles move past the .500 mark with the two wins, improving to 17-15 whereas the Judges drop to 2-18 overall.

Brian HernandezBaseball Senior Brian Hernandez drove in 10 of the 35 Emory runs over the weekend as the Eagles closed out the regular season with a 3-1 record against NYU. Hernandez had at least one hit and one RBI in all four games, finishing the weekend 7-for-16 (.438) and added two doubles and a HR. In the finale, Hernandez had a career day at the plate, going 3-for-5 with a HR and a career-best five RBI in Emory's come-from-behind win over the Violets. Read More

Billy DimlowBaseball Sophomore Billy Dimlow spun a seven-inning complete game shutout in Emory's 3-0 victory over Brandeis in game two of the weekend series. Dimlow allowed just three hits and did not walk a batter. He racked up 10 strikeouts en route to collecting his sixth win of the season, the fourth time this season he struck out at least 10 batters. Monk tossed two scoreless innings with 3 Ks for third save of the year on Tuesday against Berry. On Sunday at Millsaps, Monk threw the final 4.1 innings of the contest to record his team-high fourth win of the year, retiring the final seven batters he faced as Emory defeated the Majors 7-6. He tied for the team lead with three runs scored and added a .455 on-base percentage. Billy DimlowBaseball Sophomore Billy Dimlow was lights out on the mound in his season debut for the Eagles on Sunday, tossing 7.0 shutout innings as Emory took game two versus Sewanee 3-0. Dimlow did not allow a base runner until two outs in the fourth inning, retiring the first 11 Tiger batters, and finished the outing with only two hits allowed.
