Ryan Dagerman Named UAA Golfer Of The Week
Emory University junior Ryan Dagerman (Plano,
TX) has been selected by the University Athletic Association as the
Golfer of the Week following his performance at the Wynlakes Wynter
Nationals (Feb. 21-22) in Montgomery, Alabama. It marks the second
time during the 2010-11 season and fifth in his career that he has
been selected for the honor.
Dagerman helped the No. 20-ranked Eagles to a third-place finish
out of ten teams at the 36-hole tourney that was contested at the
6,979-yard, par 72 Wynlakes Country Club, tying for third place in
the 59-player with a two-round score of 153 (79-74).
Dagerman has logged 11 rounds of competition this year and ranks
first on the squad with a 74.3 strokes per round average.
The Eagles’ next action takes place Mar. 11-12 when they
compete at the University Athletic Association Championships in
Sorrento, Florida.
