Golfstat Live Scoring

The No. 8-ranked Emory University golf team stands tied for 10th place out of 18 squads after two rounds of the Golfweek D-III Invitational.  The 54-hole tournament is being played at the 6,900-yard, par-71 Raven Golf Club at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Destin, Florida.

The Eagles of head coach John Sjoberg shot a Monday score of 311 to give them a 36-hole total of 619, deadlocking the team with Birmingham Southern.   Leading the field is No. 4-ranked Guilford with a 586 (290-296) while No. 5 Illinois Wesleyan and No. 7 UT-Tyler are tied for the No. 2 spot at 595.  Oglethorpe University (608) and Rhodes College (609) round out the top five.

Emory senior Ryan Dagerman continues to be Emory’s top performer, carding a second-round effort of one-over par 72 that leaves him at 146, good for a sixth-place tie in the 90-player field.   Sophomore Jonathan Chen’s 153 (75-78) ranks him 28th overall on the leaderboard while senior Michael Mullavey and freshman Alex Wunderlich round out the team’s scorers, each with a 161.  Also competing is senior David Collura who checks in with a 162 (80-82).

The final round of the Golfweek D-III Invitational will be held on Tuesday (Oct. 11).
