Emory Basketball Squad Captures Shootout vs. Belfast Select

The Emory men’s basketball team captured its second win in as many outings in its overseas tour of Ireland and Northern Ireland with a high-scoring 100-91 decision over Belfast Select on Monday.

Alex Gulotta keyed the squad’s offensive attack with 22 points while Austin Claunch finished with 14 points and seven rebounds.  Michael Friedberg chipped in 11 points and eight boards while Jake Davis contributed nine points in the win.

Emory is scheduled to play its third contest of its four-game swing on Tuesday.
