Jake Davis

Sophomore Jake Davis averaged a team-high 23.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and shot 61.5 percent from the floor as Emory split a pair of UAA home games.  In Friday’s 83-67 triumph over Chicago, the 6-foot-5 Davis notched his UAA-leading seventh double-double of the year with a game-high 26-point, 10-rebound effort.  He hit 10-of-19 from the floor, including three-of-five from beyond the arc, in just 22 minutes of action.  He followed that effort with a game-high 21 points, his ninth outing of 20 more points this season, along with four rebounds in a Sunday afternoon game against No. 25 Washington University.  Davis converted six-of-seven from the field against the Bears and was successful on all eight of his free throw opportunities.  In the two games, he hit 16-of-26 from the floor, including four-of-six from three-point range, and knocked down all 11 of his free throw attempts.
