Senior Adam Gigax helped the Emory men's basketball team to a South Region win over Guilford College.
Gigax tied for the No. 2 spot on the squad with 14 points, while also contributing four rebounds, two blocks and one steal in the Eagles' 84-58 triumph over the Quakers. Gigax ended the contest sinking five-of-six field goal attempts, including three triples in four opportunities. He has scored in double figures in all eight games as well as knocking down three or more three-point field goals.
Gigax's three treys allowed him to move into the No. 7 position on the school's all-time ladder with 159 three-point field goals, just three shy of tying for sixth place.
Through games played Dec. 17, Adam is seventh on the league scoring ladder (15.0 ppg) and is fifth in three-point field goal percentage (.449, 22-49).
