Played for two seasons on the University of Denver soccer team before transferring to Emory prior to the start of his junior year... Played in one game for the Pioneers... Attended the Greenwood Lab School, where he played on the soccer team for four seasons, and served as the team captain during his junior and senior years... Scored 48 goals during his high school career... Named to the all-district, all-region and all-city first teams during his senior year, and to the all-state, all-region and all-city first teams during his junior year... Named the District Attacking Player of the Year in 2006... Coached by Chris Shull in high school... Played for the Springfield Soccer Club, where he was coached by Jeremy Alumbaugh.
