Graetz Named to NSCAA All-South-Atlantic Region Second Team

Emory University junior Jake Graetz was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-South-Atlantic Region second team, based on his performance during the 2009 season.

Graetz led the team in goals and points during the 2009 season, notching 10 scores, including four in conference matches.  The junior midfielder and co-captain scored two game-winning goals during the season, including one in conference play against Case Western Reserve University.  Graetz also helped with contributions on the defensive side of the ball, and started all 18 Emory games during the season.

This is the first all-region honor that Graetz has received during his Emory career.  Earlier in the season, he was named to the all-University Athletic Association (UAA) first team.

Graetz helped the Eagles to a 12-4-2 record during the 2009 campaign.
