Prior to Emory:
Attended Lakeside High School where he was a four-year letterwinner for the swimming and diving team, and served as the captain during his senior year... Was a member of the All-State Team in 2006... Named the team's Most Valuable Swimmer in 2006, and the Rookie of the Year in 2004... Helped his squad to the County Championships from 2004-07... Was coached in high school by Jim Perrotta and Chris Randolph and by Doug Gjertsen on his club team... Also played soccer in high school.
Personal:
Born on January 15, 1989... His sister, Liz, is a member of the Emory women's swimming & diving team.
