Swam for Neenah High School for four seasons, serving as the team captain in 2008 and 2009... Recorded times of 52.37 seconds in the 100 Fly, 1:44.60 in the 200 Free, and 47.60 in the 100 Free... Was his team's Most Valuable Performer and earned all-state honors in 2008 and 2009... Helped his team win sectional championships from 2006-09, and conference championships in 2006, 2008, and 2009... Coached by Curt Beutler... Also played tennis in high school.
