Emory University head swimming and diving coach Jon Howell has announced that Erin Detwiler will be joining the program as assistant coach. Detwiler replaces former assistant Derek Perkins who recently accepted a coaching position at Clemson. Detwiler will also serve as Aquatics Director at Emory.
Detwiler comes to the Eagles after a successful two-year stint

Partnership located in Madison, Wisconsin.
Detwiler attended Kenyon College and earned four letters in
swimming (1995-1999). During her career, she was awarded a
total of four All-America certificates in 1997 and 1998. She
also competed on track and field team for three seasons.
"We are thrilled to have Erin join our staff," said Howell.
"She brings a depth of experience and a passion for swimming
that will have a significant impact on our program."
