Emory Swimming & Diving Returns Home to Host the College of Charleston
The top-ranked Emory University women's swimming and diving team
and the fourth-ranked men's squad will host their first home meet
of the 2010 calendar year on Saturday against the College of
Charleston at 11:00 AM.
The Emory men will enter the meet with a 2-2 overall record,
including a 1-2 mark against Division I opponents and a 1-0 record
at home. The Eagle women are 3-2 this season with a 2-2 mark
in dual meets against Division I opponents, and 1-0 at home.
The Division I College of Charleston men will enter the meet with a
2-4 overall record, including a 1-2 record in road meets, while the
women are 4-7 with a 2-2 road record.
This will be the 16th meeting between all-time between
the Eagles and the Cougars, and the first since 2001. Both
the Emory men and women hold an 8-7 advantage over their College of
Charleston counterparts in previous meetings.
