Emory Swimming & Diving to Host SCAD & Darton
The Emory University swimming and diving teams will return to
the Woodruff P.E. Center this weekend, where the Eagles will play
host to Darton College and the Savannah College of Art & Design
(SCAD) on Saturday, January 22nd at 1:00 PM

The Emory University women, 1-3 in dual meets this season, will
begin the weekend as the top-ranked NCAA Division III team, after
receiving 10 of the 12 first place votes in the latest
CollegeSwimming.com/CSCAA poll. The men, ranked second in
Division III, are also 1-3 in dual meets this year. Both
teams are coming off victories against the University of Tampa on
January 10th.
Both Darton College’s men’s and women’s teams are
0-3 in dual meets this season. The Cavaliers are a member of
the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
The SCAD men are 8-2 overall in dual meets during the campaign,
including wins in each of their last three outings. The women
are 5-6, but have also won three-consecutive meets. The SCAD
women have won back-to-back NAIA National Championships.
