Prior to Emory:
Came to Emory by way of the University of Maryland, where he competed for one year with the ACC program... Recorded times of 46.99 seconds in the 100 free, 4:00.95 in the 400 IM, 52.74 in the 100 fly and 1:53.40 in the 200 IM during his freshman year with the Terps... Swam for Marist High School for four years, serving as the team captain during his senior year... Was a five-time all-American and the 200 IM state runner-up in 2010... Helped his squad to a high school state championship... Coached by Terry Blish and Jason Turcotte.
Born January 15, 1992... Has brothers who swim at Michigan and Stanford, and a sister who swims at Catholic.
