Dillon Pottish and Chris Goodwin Earn Doubles Win At ITA Small College Championships

The Emory sophomore tandem of Dillon Pottish and Chris Goodwin picked up a victory in their opening doubles match at the ITA Small College Championships in Mobile, Alabama.  Pottish and Goodwin, the No. 1 seed, posted a 6-4, 7-6 decision over Isaac Stein and Max Woods of Washington University.  The Emory duo now advances to the semifinal round on Friday where they will meet Taylor Borda and Josh Rifkin of Ithaca in a 1:30 p.m. start (CDT).

In singles action, No. 1 seed John Watts of Washington University defeated Pottish, 7-6. 6-0, sending the Emory entry into the consolation bracket where he will face Mike Mattelson of Vassar.
