Brackets Released For ITA Small College Men's Championships
The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has released
the men's brackets for the Small College Championships, set to
begin on Thursday, October 15th in Mobile, Alabama.
Emory sophomore Dillon Pottish (East Quogue, NY)
will represent the South Atlantic Region in the eight-player
singles bracket, taking on the Central Region champion and No. 1
seed, John Watts, from Washington University in the first round.
The match will be held on Thursday starting at 10:30 a.m.
(CDT). The winner advances to the semifinal round and will
meet either Hayden White of Washington & Lee or Mike Mattelson
of Vassar on Friday morning at 8:30 a.m.
Pottish will team with sophomore Chris Goodwin in
doubles play with the duo battling Washington University's Isaac
Stein and Max Woods. The Emory tandem heads into the
competition as the No. 1 seed. The two teams are scheduled to
face off on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. (CDT).
