Junior Jonathan Jemison captured the singles title at the ITA South Region Championships held in Rome, Georgia.
Jemison rattled off six wins in the Main Draw, becoming the 11th Eagle over the past 12 years to bring home the singles crown. On the final day of action, he defeated freshman teammate Hayden Cassone in the semifinals, 7-6, 6-3, before bettering sophomore teammate Rex Serituk, 6-4, 6-2, in the final. It was the second straight year that Jemison had advanced to the championship match and his first title.
Jonathan's effort over the weekend upped his career singles win total to 60, good for 26th place on the program's all-time ladder.
Jemison and Cassone joined forces to advance to the finals of the double competition, falling short to teammates Adrien Bouchet and Will Wanner.
