Prior to Emory:
Was a four-year letterwinner on the University of Illinois Laboratory High School track and field team, and served as a team co-captain during his senior year... Recorded career-best times of 4:55 in the 1,600m run, and 51.53 seconds in the 400m run... Was his school's record holder as part of the 4x800m and 4x400m relays... Earned IHSA all-state honors in 2007 with a seventh-place finish in the 4x800m relay... A Wendy's High School Heisman State Finalist during the 2008-09 school year... Coached by Doug Mynatt... Also ran cross country and played soccer in high school.
Personal:
Born July 4th, 1991... Owns a web development business... Was a United States Senate Youth Program Delegate in 2009.
