Moserowitz Named the UAA Athlete of the Week for Track & Field
Emory University freshman Mike Moserowitz was
named the University Athletic Association’s (UAA) Athlete of
the Week for men’s track and field, after his performance at
last Saturday’s Tiger Tune-Up.
Moserowitz recorded the third-best long jump distance in the UAA
this season, while competing at the Tiger Tune-Up at Clemson
University. His jump of 6.72 meters was a personal-best mark,
and good for a fifth-place finish at the meet. Moserowitz was
also the Eagles’ top finisher in the 200-meter dash, claiming
24th with a time of 23.90 seconds.
Moserowitz and the rest of the Eagles will return to action this
weekend, heading to the University of Chicago for the 2011 UAA
Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday and Sunday,
February 26th and 27th.
