Ben Euwer

Emory University senior thrower Ben Euwer set the school record in the shot put, en route to winning the event at the Tiger Indoor Invitational in Sewanee, TN on Saturday.  Euwer broke the record with a throw of 14.49 meters, besting the previous program record of 14.41 meters set by Josh Heiber in 2004.  In addition, the throw was the best in the University Athletic Association (UAA) this season by six-tenths of a meter.  Euwer also won the weight throw at the meet with a toss of 12.91 meters.
