Took part in four competitions ... Ran a season-best 29:49
at the Foothills Invitational (Oct. 10) ... Also ran in the Sewanee
Invitational (Sept. 5), UGA Invitational (Sept. 19) and Quaker
Invitational (Oct. 17).
Freshman (2008):
Competed in the season-opening meet at the Sewanee
Invitational (Sept. 6), the Auburn Invitational (Oct. 4) and Front
Runner Invitational (Oct. 18).
Prior to Emory: Earned three varsity letters in cross
country and track and field at Parkview High School .... Coached by
James Tigne ... During his cross country career, his team captured
a state championship ... In track, he competed in the 800 meters
(best time of 1:58.3) and 400 meters (best time of 52.2) ... Also
played on his high school's basketball team.
Personal: Born January 15, 1990.
