Four-year member of the cross country and track and field teams at
Pinecrest Academy where he was coached by Meghan Hoover ... During
his senior year his best 5K time was a 17:14 ... Was on the state
championship cross country team his sophomore campaign ... His high
school squad captured region champs on three occasions ... Ran the
3200, 1600 and 800 meters in track ... Also competed on the soccer
and basketball teams.
