meets of the season ... Best time of 2010 was a 30:07 at the
Sewanee Invitational ... Also competed in the Berry College
Invitational.
Sophomore (2009): Ran in four competitions ... Ran
a career-best 8K time of 29:52 at the Quaker Invitational (Oct. 17)
... Was part of the Emory contingent at the Sewanee Invitational
(Sept. 5), UGA Invitational (Sept. 19) and Foothills Invitational
(Oct. 10).
Freshman (2008): Competed in the season-opening Sewanee
Invitational (Sept. 6) and at the 5K Front Runner Invitational
(Oct. 18).
Prior to Emory: Ran four years of cross country at Ocean
Township High School where he ran for Mark DeSomma ... Best 5K time
as a senior was an 18:11 ... Member of the program that captured
the 2005 Central New Jersey Group 3 state championship ... Also
competed in swimming while in high school and captained the team
his senior year.
Personal: Born January 13, 1990 ... All-America
triathlete in 2005 ... Was ranked as the No. 1 triathlete in New
Jersey from 2005 through 2007 in the junior age group.
