Competed on the cross country and track and field programs at Pine
Crest High School in Fort Lauderdale, FL ... Was coached by Kathy
Halligen ... Top 5K time as a senior was 16:28 .... Helped his
cross country squad to a district title in 2009 ... As a member of
the track team, he ran the 3200, 1600 and 800 meters ... Top 800
meter effort was 1:58 ... Also played on the baseball
