year while being selected to the second team of the NFCA

she batted .333 and led the team and UAA in runs scored (44) and
stolen bases with a school seasonal record of 26 thefts ... Posted
17 multi-hit games and her 50 safeties placed her second on the
team and sixth on the UAA list ... Five contests of two or more
stolen bases ... Went a combined three-for-six and scored three
runs in a doubleheader sweep against Maryville College (Mar. 1) ...
Recorded four multi-hit games during the UAA Tournament and scored
eight runs ... Picked up three hits in four trips to the plate and
scored what proved to be the winning run in a 4-0 triumph over
Colorado College (Mar. 19) ... Picked up a couple of safeties and
scored twice in a 7-2 triumph over Piedmont College (Mar. 29) ...
Two hits and scored twice in each game of a twinbill at Huntingdon
College (Apr. 13).
Freshman (2007):
Enjoyed a stellar first year as an Eagle, starting 39 of
41 games ... Solid center fielder whose speed and ability to make
contact made her a valuable leadoff hitter ... Led the team and UAA
with a .484 batting average, good for 14th place nationally ... Her
average was second highest in school history behind only Lauren
Dix's mark of .489 (2000) ... First Team selection to both the
All-UAA and All-Atlantic Region Teams ... Was picked as the UAA
Rookie of the Year ... Tied for first on the team in at bats (122)
and her team-high 59 hits tied for first among UAA performers and
tied for the No. 8 position on Emory's seasonal chart ... Landed a
spot on NCAA Tournament All-Regional Team after hitting an
impressive .538 (7-of-13), scoring four runs and stealing two bases
over the four contests ... Went 2-for-4 and scored the game-winning
run in the ninth inning in a 5-4 win over Salisbury (5/10) in the
NCAA Regional opener ... Finished the year with 19 multi-hit
contests ... Went 3-for-3 and came up with a two-run double in the
seventh inning that helped propel Emory to a 5-1 win at Maryville
College (2/24) ... The following weekend (3/3), she picked up two
hits, including a two-run triple in a 6-1 home decision vs.
Maryville ... Enjoyed a 16-game hitting streak that ran from Feb.
18 through Mar. 16 ... Picked up hits in seven of eight UAA
Tournament games and finished with a team-best .462 average
(12-for-26), good for third place among all performers ... Went
