Emory Softball To Have Select Games Webcast
Fans of the Emory University softball program will be able
to follow the team via the internet as a total of four home games
will be webcast during the 2010 season.
The first games slated to be webcast (weather permitting) will be
Emory's doubleheader on Sunday, March 21, vs. LaGrange College
starting at 1:00 p.m. The Eagles’ twinbill against Berry
College on Saturday, April 10, beginning at noon are the other
contests.
In order you view the webcast, you need to have RealPlayer©
version 10 or newer installed on your computer. To download
the free version of RealPlayer©, go to www.real.com, and click on the "Get
RealPlayer© - Free" button on the upper-left side of the
screen.
Once RealPlayer is installed, the webcast can be accessed by going
to the Live Webcasts link that will be located under the Multimedia
pull-down menu on the school's athletics web site, www.emoryathletics.com.
NOTE – Given the location of the webcast at Cooper
Field, it is imperative that there be no threat of rain in order
for the webcast to proceed. Exposure to wet conditions
may damage the equipment that is being used for the
webcast.
