Provided depth to the Emory pitching staff, appearing in
six games and finishing with a
2-0 won-lost record ... Tossed 14 1/3 innings and struck out 12
while issuing just one walk ... Notched her first win in the circle
when she drew a starting assignment and went all five innings,
allowing just three hits while fanning three in a 12-1, five-inning
decision over Case Western (Mar. 12) at the UAA Tournament
... Hurled the first three innings as a starter vs. Spelman (Apr.
9) and posted her second victory after striking out four as the
Eagles prevailed, 13-0, in five innings.
High School:
Fine four-year career at Union High School where she played for
Chris Flinn ... Served as team co-captain during the 2009-10
campaign ... Was chosen as the Union County Player of the Year in
2009 after compling a won-lost mark of 18-4 on the mound
and helping her her team to its first sectional title in 14
years ... 2009 All-State Group 4 First Team .... Her team ended
2009 ranked No. 7 in Group 4 and was runner-up in the state
championship ... As a senior, she notched a 20-5 record with a
career-high 244 strikeouts and 1.65 ERA in helping the squad to a
23-6 slate ... Also hit .395 with eight doubles, four triples and
21 RBIs in 2010 ... A three-time selection to the all-county team
... Captured a spot on the 2010 All-State-All Group IV Second Team
her senior season ... As a sophomore in 2008, she chalked up a 16-3
