Emory's Hannah Lilly Named Jewish Sports Review Basketball All-American
Emory University’s Hannah Lilly (Mercer
Island, WA), has been recognized for her outstanding play during
the 2010-11 season by earning a spot on the first team of the
Jewish Sports Review Division II & III Women’s
Basketball All-America Team.
The 5-foot-8 Lilly started 22 of the team’s 25 games as a
freshman and topped the squad while ranking 11th among
University Athletic Association players with an 11.6 per-game
scoring average. She drained a team-best 41 three-point field
goals, sixth on Emory’ seasonal list, and scored in double
figures on 14 occasions.
Lilly earned her fair share of accolades for her campaign, garnered
All-UAA Second Team acclaim as well as being chosen as the
conference’s Rookie of the Year. In addition, she was
tabbed to the D3hoops.com All South Region Second
Team.
