Savannah Morgan

Sophomore Savannah Morgan averaged a team-high 13.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 2.5 steals in helping Emory to a split of UAA home games against a pair of nationally ranked opponents.  Against No. 2-ranked Chicago, the 5-foot-8 Morgan totaled eight points and finished with team highs with six assists and three steals.  In an 82-72 victory over No. 8-ranked Washington University, she led all players with a career-high tying 19 points and doled out seven assists with just one turnover in 36 minutes of action.  In the two games combined, she shot 50 percent (11-of-22) from the field and converted two three-point field goals in five attempts.

Her 19 points against WU represented her ninth double-figure scoring effort of the season while her seven assists upped her 2011-12 total to 106, good for ninth place on the Eagles’ seasonal ladder.
