followed by the 2-0-2 Bears of Washington University (Mo.).
Brandeis University (2-2-0), New York University (2-2-0), Case
Western Reserve University (1-3-0) and Carnegie Mellon University
(0-4-0) make up the bottom half of the conference

Emory Notes
Emory freshman Kelly Costopoulos was
named the UAA’s Offensive Player of the Week for
women’s soccer, after scoring two goals and assisting on
another during two games last weekend… Costopoulos became
the first Emory player to earn the league’s offensive honor
this season, and the fourth Eagle overall… She is the second
freshman on the team this season to be named an Athlete of the
Week, joining Clare Mullins… Sophomore
goalkeeper Kaele Leonard is ranked 14th
among Division III players with a 0.909 save percentage and
15th with a 0.399 goals against average…
Sophomore Erica Stein has a 0.56 goals against
average and a.789 save percentage, but is not ranked by the NCAA
because she has played less than 50% of the team’s total
minutes in goal… This is the sixth time in the
program’s history that the team has just one loss through its
first 14 games… Six different Eagles have recorded
game-winning assists this season, led by Lee
Bachouros who has three… Seven different Emory
players have scored game-winning goals, led by Lauren
Smith, Melanie Levy, Clare
Mullins and Emily Rubin with two
apiece… Rubin, Costopoulos, and Veronica
Romero are the only three Eagles to have both a
game-winning goal and a game-winning assist this season.
