Emory Women's Soccer Announces 2010 Webcast Schedule
Fans of the Emory University women’s soccer program will
have an opportunity to follow the team via the internet as seven
home matches will be webcast during the 2010 season.
The first contest slated to be webcast is the Eagles’
encounter on Sunday, Sept. 19, against Rhodes College starting at
1:00 p.m. It is one of four non-conference games that will be
streamed with other non-league outings against Agnes Scott (Sept.
22, 8:00 p.m.), Oglethorpe University (Oct. 12, 5:00 p.m.) and
Berry College (Oct. 23, 6:00 p.m.) on the docket. All three
of Emory’s home University Athletic Association contests will
be webcast including the Oct. 9 showdown against the University of
Chicago beginning at 11:00 a.m. The other two league
encounters that can be seen include Rochester (Oct. 29, 5:00 p.m.)
and Case Western Reserve (Oct. 31, 11:00 a.m.).
In order you view the webcast, you need to have RealPlayer©
version 10 or newer installed on your computer. To download
the free version of RealPlayer©, go to www.real.com, and click on the "Get
RealPlayer© - Free" button on the upper-left side of the
screen.
Once RealPlayer is installed, the webcast can be accessed by going
to the Live Webcasts link that will be located under the Multimedia
pull-down menu on the school's new athletics web site, www.emoryathletics.com. Although
you may be able to click on the link a number of hours before the
match, the webcast will not become active until approximately 15
minutes before the start of the match, and you will not be able to
access the live video and audio prior to that time.
