Erica Stein

Emory University junior goalkeeper Erica Stein played a scoreless first half in goal during the fifth-ranked Eagles 1-0 double-overtime loss to 20th-ranked Williams College in the round of 16 of the NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Championships.  Stein made a pair of saves on long shots during the first half, en route to her 18th scoreless appearance through 20 games in 2011.  She finished the year with a school-record 0.20 goals-against average (allowing just two goals during the year), while going 11-0-1 with a .882 save percentage.  Stein helped the Eagles set a program record for victories during the 2011 campaign, ending the season with a 17-1-2 record.
