Emory Womens Swimming & Diving Ranked First in Division III
Halfway through the 2009-10 season, the Emory University women's
swimming and diving team has branded itself as the top NCAA
Division III squad in the nation, as the Eagles were ranked
first in the latest CSCAA/ CollegeSwimming.com Division III
Poll.
The Eagles received nine first place votes and 344 total points,
ahead of reigning Division III champion Kenyon College's four first
place votes and 332 points. Denison University was third in
the poll with one first place vote and 332 points.
Last season, the Eagles finished second at the NCAA Division III
Champions and returned six swimmers who won national championships
from that squad.
Emory will return to action on Monday, January 18th, as
the Eagles will take on the University of Tampa in Tampa, FL.
