Emory Women’s Swimming & Diving Ranked First in Division III

Halfway through the 2009-10 season, the Emory University women's swimming and diving team has branded itself as the top NCAA Division III squad in the nation,  as the Eagles were ranked first in the latest CSCAA/ CollegeSwimming.com Division III Poll.

The Eagles received nine first place votes and 344 total points, ahead of reigning Division III champion Kenyon College's four first place votes and 332 points.  Denison University was third in the poll with one first place vote and 332 points.

Last season, the Eagles finished second at the NCAA Division III Champions and returned six swimmers who won national championships from that squad.

Emory will return to action on Monday, January 18th, as the Eagles will take on the University of Tampa in Tampa, FL.
