Emory Swimming & Diving to Face Off Against Division I Georgia Tech

The Emory University swimming and diving team will begin to wind down its 2009-10 dual meet campaign, as the Eagles will take on NCAA Division I Georgia Tech on Saturday, January 30th at 11:00 AM.

The Emory men are 5-2 in dual meets this season, and are currently ranked fourth in Division III.  Emory's women are 6-2 during the campaign, and are the top-ranked squad in Division III.  Both Eagle squads are coming off a pair of wins at home last Saturday against Division II teams Wingate University and Delta State University.

The Georgia Tech men will enter the meet with a record of 4-6 on the season, while the women are 4-7-1.  The Yellow Jackets received votes in the latest men's and women's Division I polls.

The two squads met last season, with the Eagles' falling 164 - 121 to the Georgia Tech men, and the Emory women dropping a 160 - 129 decision to the Yellow Jackets.

Following Saturday's meet, the Eagles have just one dual meet remaining, a road contest against Division I Auburn University, before hosting the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championships.
