Emory's Meredith Vincent Named ITA Regional Assistant Coach of the Year

Emory University assistant women's tennis coach Meredith Vincent has been named the Women's Tennis Assistant Coach of the Year for the Atlantic South Region, by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).

This season, Vincent helped lead Emory to a third-place finish at the NCAA Division III Team Championships and to a 22-5 record overall.  In addition, she saw her players win the NCAA singles tournament, and the ITA Fall Regional singles and doubles championships.

During Vincent's three years with the Eagles, Emory has advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals twice and won three University Athletic Association (UAA) Championships.  She has coached her players to 13 all-America honors and 24 all-UAA honors to date, while earning UAA Coaching Staff of the Year honors twice.
