Emory Women’s Tennis Returns Home to Face Birmingham Southern

The third-ranked Emory University women's tennis team will return home after winning the ITA Division III Women's Indoor Championship last weekend, hosting Birmingham Southern College on Thursday.

The Eagles are now 7-2 on the season following a 3-1 week, including a perfect 6-0 mark against Division III opponents.   Emory is the top ranked team in the Atlantic South region, and features four of the top-25 singles players in the region.  In three home matches this season, the Eagles are 2-1.

Birmingham Southern College is currently ranked 15th in the Atlantic South region.  The Panthers are 2-3 this season, including a record of 1-1 on the road.

Action is slated for a 3:00 PM start on Thursday at the Woodruff P.E. Center.
