The third-ranked Emory University women's tennis team will begin
its spring season on Sunday, February 14th, as the
Eagles will take on Division II Clayton State University on the

winning the ITA South Region Singles Championship, and shared
all-America honors with sophomore teammate Zahra
Dawson by winning the doubles competition.
McManigle will enter the spring as the second-ranked
singles player in the region, while Dawson is ranked third.
Other regionally-ranked Emory singles players entering the season
include, freshman Jordan Wylie (sixth), junior

region. The Lakers' Katie White is the 17th-ranked
player in Division II, and their doubles team of White and
Viktoriya Semyrodenko is ranked seventh in the nation.
Clayton State will open its season on Saturday before facing the
Eagles on Sunday.
Last season, the Eagles dropped a 6-3 decision to Clayton State at
the Woodruff P.E. Center. Emory received a pair of wins from
doubles matches during the contest, and their lone singles victory
