#1 Eagles to Host Sewanee in Final Match before UAA Championships
The top-ranked Emory University women’s tennis team will
get its final tune-up this week before the University Athletic
Association (UAA) Championships, hosting the 21st-ranked
University of the South (Sewanee) on Tuesday at 3:00 PM.
Emory will enter the match with a record of 15-4, following the
team’s 5-4 loss on Saturday to Clayton State University, the
ninth-ranked NCAA Division II team. Sewanee has won
four-straight matches to improve to 15-4 overall this season.
The Eagles have won three-straight matches against the Tigers,
including the last two by 9-0 scores.
