Eagles Return Home to Host Brenau on Tuesday

The second-ranked Emory University Women's Tennis Team will look to extend its current six-match winning streak on Tuesday, April 15th at 5:00 PM, when the Eagles host Brenau University at the Woodruff Physical Education Center.

The six-straight victories for the Eagles, all of which have come against nationally-ranked opposition, have pushed the team's record to 18-2 for the season.  Emory is 10-0 this season in matches played at home.

Brenau, of the NAIA, stands at 13-7 overall this season, including a 7-3 road record.  The Golden Tigers have won five-straight matches, including a 5-4 victory over the Savannah College of Art and Design last weekend.

The Brenau lineup features three of singles players ranked nationally in the NAIA – seventh-ranked Dominika Jasova, 15th-ranked Maria Perdomo-Medina and 35th-ranked Zalina Nazarova.  In addition, the Jasova and Nazarova make up the NAIA's 14th-ranked doubles pairing.

Full results and a recap of the match will be posted to EmoryAthletics.com following the completion of play on Tuesday.
