Ysabel Gonzalez-Rico to Represent Emory at Oracle ITA National Fall Championships

Emory University Women's Tennis sophomore Ysabel Gonzalez-Rico is set to represent the Eagles at this week's Oracle ITA National Fall Championships at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex in Surprise, Arizona.

Gonzalez-Rico will be one of 64 players across the collegiate tennis landscape vying for the singles title beginning Wednesday, November 7th. The Oracle ITA National Fall Championships is the lone event on the collegiate tennis calendar to feature competitors from all five divisions (NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA and JUCO) playing in the same tournament.

In the opening round, Gonzalez-Rico will be matched up against North Carolina's Alexa Graham at 10:30 AM local time/12:30 PM EST. Gonzalez-Rico earned her way into the field of 64 after winning the Division III ITA National Championship in October at the ITA Cup while Graham earned one of the Division I's at-large selections and was tabbed as the 15-seed in the draw.
